Roti Jala & Kari Ayam

Kali ni try lagi buat roti jala...geram sgt sebab banyak kali buat asyik tak jadi jer!!! tp aku suka makan roti jala...macam mana tu?? Semasa bloghopping terjumpa resepi roti jala kat sini. Rasa tercabar pulak bila si empunya resepi ni chinese dan pandai menjala pulak tu...stay kat Kota London pulak tu...pikir2 balik, haaiii chinese pun pandai menjala... tak kan aku tak leh buat...tak leh jadi ni...oleh itu dgn semangat berkobar2, dipagi hari yg hening bila hubby dan anak tak bangun lagi, aku pun mula la menjala...hehehe...

Mula2 menjala tu memang tak jadi, adunan tu macam pekat sikit dan turun dot dot dot...aku pun tambah la air sikit lagi... lepas tu baru turun elok... ok la nak makan sendiri tp jalanya masih tak elok...kadang2 separuh jala, separuh lempeng, hahaha...rasanya kalau practice buat selalu tentu jadi elok, kan kan?? macam orang kata, "Practice make Perfect" kan kan??

Apa pun teksturnya lembut dan sedap...bila cicah dgn kari ayam, dah tak ingat jalanya elok atau tak? laju jer masuk mulut..hahaha..Bagi sesiapa yg nak try resepi ni, aku letak kat bwh tu...Thanks Samantha for the lovely recipe...

Roti Jala (Malaysian Lacey Coconut and Turmeric Crepes)
Makes about 20 crepes

Sift together into a large bowl:
2 cups of plain flour
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp salt (or more to taste)

Make a well in the middle of the flour, add in and whisk to form a thin batter (I use an electric mixer briefly at the end to get rid of lumps):
2 eggs
2 cups coconut milk (aku ganti dgn 2 cawan fresh milk)
1 cup water (tak guna sbb adunan dah cair sgt)

Set a heavy-based frying pan on low-medium heat and grease with an onion dipped in oil. Pour the batter in using a quick circular motion.
Wait for the batter to set (which only takes about 20-30 seconds).
Fold over two edges towards the middle.
Roll one end all the way up towards the other. Remove and place on a plate.
Repeat all of the above until the rest of the batter is used up. Serve immediately with a good hot curry.
